Terms of Service
By accessing or using NepaliPay, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to participate in cash games
- You must reside in a jurisdiction where our services are available
- You must provide accurate personal information
- You must not be located in a sanctioned jurisdiction
2. Account responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials and 4-digit transaction PIN confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- One account per individual; multi-account abuse is prohibited
3. Financial services
- NepaliPay is a payment and social platform, not a chartered bank
- Transactions are subject to anti-money-laundering (AML) screening
- Stablecoin (USDC, USDT) operations are processed through licensed providers (Circle)
- External USDC withdrawals require a 4-digit transaction PIN every time
- External addresses are screened against OFAC / Chainalysis sanctions lists
4. User-generated content
- You retain ownership of content you post
- By posting, you grant NepaliPay a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute your content within the platform
- You may not post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or that violates intellectual-property rights
- We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms
5. Games
- Cash games: minimum $0.10 stake. A 10% platform rake is applied to the pot.
- Fair play: game outcomes are determined server-side using cryptographically secure random number generation. Manipulation attempts result in account suspension.
- Responsible gaming: if you believe you have a gambling problem, contact support@nepalipay.com for self-exclusion.
6. Gifts
- Virtual gifts purchased within NepaliPay are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash
- Tiers: Free (unlockable via XP), Standard (under $1), Premium ($1–$10)
- Gifts over $5 include a 10% bonus credited to the receiver’s balance
7. Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for money laundering or terrorist financing
- Circumvent identity-verification or sanctions controls
- Create multiple accounts or use the platform on someone else’s behalf without consent
- Exploit bugs or security vulnerabilities (responsible disclosure: security@nepalipay.com)
- Reverse-engineer the application or its protocols
- Use automated tools to access the platform
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
8. Fees and pricing
- Account creation: Free
- Card deposits: Stripe processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) + 1.5% on-ramp fee
- Internal P2P transfers: Free
- External stablecoin transfers: 1% + $1 flat (Circle export fee)
- Cash game rake: 10% of pot
- Gifts: priced as listed in the gift store
We may update fees with 30 days’ advance notice via in-app notification. Current fees are always visible on nepalipay.com/fees.
9. Limitation of liability
NepaliPay is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from blockchain network conditions, third-party-processor outages, user negligence (lost credentials, lost recovery phrase), or events outside our reasonable control.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the NepaliPay legal entity is registered. Disputes will be resolved in line with our Support & Dispute Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of NepaliPay after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
